The Hawaii Holiday House complex is located in the eastern part of Limassol in the seaside area of Agios Tychonas. The construction of the building was completed about 30 years ago and consists of three buildings with four floors of apartments and a semi-basement car park.
The structure of the building is made of reinforced concrete with an area in each floor of about 480m2.
In its 30 years of life, the building has so far been overwhelmed by several seismic vibrations without causing problems. Nevertheless, the fact that it is located a few meters from the sea, combined with the modest quality of construction materials, caused problems of disintegration of concrete and plasters, which made it necessary to repair them before any energy upgrading work.
