EQUILIBRIUM

Equilibrium is a contemporary office building set in central Limassol, designed to redefine how workspace integrates with the Mediterranean environment.

The building rises over four office floors above a ground-floor reception, with a mechanical intermediate level and a rooftop terrace that includes an enclosed conference room and an open-air event area. Total covered area is 1,222 m², with a 107 m² roof garden and a basement level of 377 m² providing 19 parking spaces.

The structural system is a post-tensioned flat slab on each floor, delivering column-free open-plan workspace across typical spans of 5–7 m. Post-tensioning reduces slab thickness relative to conventional reinforced concrete, allowing each floor plate to accommodate flexible partitioning without compromising ceiling heights. The foundation is a reinforced concrete raft, suited to the soil conditions of the site and the building’s compact footprint. Lateral stability is provided by the reinforced concrete core and perimeter shear walls. ASD Sotiriou provided full structural design services for the project, which is scheduled for completion in April 2027.
