VASSILIOU MAKEDONOS

VASSILIOU MAKEDONOS BUSINESS CENTER is a five-storey office building in the historical centre of Limassol, Cyprus, a short walk from the city’s business district, seafront, and marina.nnThe development comprises six contemporary office units arranged over five levels, each with private outdoor verandas and landscaped green terraces. A shared cafe-lounge occupies the fourth floor, with a gym on the fifth, connected internally by a glass sky-bridge that runs alongside a full-height vertical garden threading through the building’s core. Construction was completed in July 2023.nnLateral stability is provided by a shear wall system, with post-tensioned flat slabs spanning typical bays of 8m across the floor plates, keeping the office layouts column-free and allowing flexible partitioning for tenants. The building sits on a raft foundation.nnASD Sotiriou provided the structural engineering design for the project, working alongside architects Armeftis Partners for developer Kinnis Group.
