CAELIA

CAELIA is a two-block residential complex in Germasogeia, Limassol, 400 metres from Dassoudi beach.

The development comprises two four-storey blocks, A and B, each with 11 apartments, for a total of 22 units ranging from 70 m² one-bedroom layouts to larger family residences, set around shared landscaped gardens and a communal swimming pool.

Both blocks are built on a reinforced concrete frame structural system, with typical spans of 6 metres between columns, allowing open-plan living areas and flexible balcony layouts across all four floors. The buildings rest on raft foundations, distributing loads evenly across the site. Seismic design followed the CYS National Annex to Eurocode 8, with the RC frame proportioned to resist lateral loads while keeping structural elements unobtrusive within the compact residential floor plans.

ASD Sotiriou provided the structural design for both blocks, from foundation to roof, working alongside architects Lazarou & Michael.
